Purpose
This tool is designed for
- Who want to transfer their file in HTML format to share their DOC files with those who doesn't have a MS Word or Word Viewer
- Who want exact HTML files' appearance as their original DOC files
- Who want smaller size than Word genrated HTML file
- Who want concised HTML code to edit in HTML editor
- Who want their DOC files can be viewed online such as post to a blog.
This tool doesn't fit for
- Who want the HTML files is 100% the same as original DOC file.
- Though we can assure that 90% or even 100% of the appearance can be remained as original Word generated HTML, but MS Word could not export HTML 100% exactly as original DOC file. Some features, like pages and columns (not simulation) could not be implemented in HTML now.
Effect and Result
After testing on hundreds of Word generated HTML files, here's the data
- Most files' size can be reduced from 30% - 50% (that means 50% - 70% remains) while 90%+ appearance remains.
- Most files' appearance can be preserved 100% in Light scheme, and 90%+ in Medium scheme.
- Unfiltered HTML file size will be reduced more notably(40%-70%), because it contains much more garbages.
- Extreme scheme can reduce file size mostly (50-70%), but appearance was also lost considerably(30%-60%).
Altogether, the effect depends on different HTML file and different scheme.
